Together We Thrive.

Our mission

Strengthen people and communities through coordinated support and public participation.

TXFPF strengthens Texas communities by connecting returning citizens, young people, women and families with reentry support, workforce development, wellness education, civic engagement and opportunities to shape public policy.

Our vision

Stable families, strong communities and fair opportunities across Texas.

We envision Texas communities where people can rebuild after hardship, secure stable housing and meaningful work, participate in civic life and help create safe, healthy and economically strong futures for their families.

Honoring legacy. Building futures.

Community experience shapes every TXFPF program.

Texas Federation of the People Foundation was built on a promise: people are defined by their ability to grow, contribute and move forward. Our story is rooted in Houston and shaped by returning citizens, families, young people, women, organizers and community leaders who understand what it takes to rebuild.

Since 2016, TXFPF has developed practical responses to the barriers affecting employment, housing, health, education, public participation and family stability. We connect immediate support with long-term opportunity. We also bring community voices into the policy decisions affecting their lives.

Returning citizens are community assets. Voting, working, leading and giving back are rights and responsibilities of citizenship. When people gain economic, emotional and civic support, families become stronger and neighborhoods gain lasting stability.

Listen first

Lived experience helps TXFPF identify what people need, what systems miss and where support breaks down.

Coordinate support

Programs connect housing, identification, benefits, health, training, employment and family needs instead of treating each barrier alone.

Build community power

Civic education, public conversations and advocacy help residents influence the decisions shaping their communities.

Track progress

TXFPF follows service reach, stability, employment, housing, wellness and participation while protecting personal information.

Built for public trust

Mission-driven. Community-led. Accountable.
