Protecting Our People – Uplifting Peace

Houston Safe Summer: Peace P.O.P.-U.P. is an initiative powered by Cognitive Justice International, Texas Federation of the People Foundation (TXFPF), in collaboration with Texas Prisons Community Advocates (TPCA). Born from the urgent need to interrupt cycles of violence, trauma, and disconnection in our neighborhoods, Peace P.O.P.-U.P. brings healing, hope, and opportunity directly to communities across Harris County.

Each Peace P.O.P.-U.P. is a mobile ecosystem of care—a vibrant, community-based pop-up activation designed to address the root causes of harm while empowering residents with the resources they need to thrive. From civic education and expungement clinics to mental health services, job fairs, and youth activities, we create a safe, welcoming space where neighbors come together to build unity, voice concerns, and take action.
